The Holetown Lagoon
Restoration Project 2006
Holetown lagoon is a watercourse egress point on the West coast of Barbados. This location is often subject of periodic contributory flooding in the Holetown area, The documentary presents actions taken in a collaborative project between government agencies and property owners in the area, to (1) control the volumes of water flowing from inland to the sea, and (2) restore some aspects of the natural functioning of the lagoon as a natural coastal amenity.
